Auto Body Technician

Technician  essential Job Functions:

  • Auto Body Technician will restore damaged vehicles to their original structural state, function and appearance
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders
  • Works with various metals and plastics, glass, electrical and mechanical parts
  • Remove damaged panels, any damaged vehicle part
  • File, grind and and repaired surfaces
  • Align or replace damaged parts according to manufacturers’ specification
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Skills

  • One to five years’ experience with collision repair
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • I-CAR certifications desired, but not required for all positions
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
